Karen Gani, Reading Specialist &
Early Childhood Education Expert
Karen Gani is a bilingual literacy specialist and experienced kindergarten teacher with over 13 years of experience helping young learners build strong reading skills. After earning her degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Brooklyn College, Karen combined her expertise in language development with her passion for early childhood education.
Whether in the classroom or through one-on-one tutoring at Bright Beginnings Literacy, Karen creates a nurturing and engaging environment where every child can become a confident, capable reader from the very beginning.
MY APPROACH
Simple, Enaging, Results-Driven
At Bright Beginnings Literacy, I use systematic, phonics-based instruction to help children become confident, independent readers. This structured approach teaches students how sounds and letters work together, laying a strong foundation for decoding, fluency, and comprehension. Lessons are personalized to meet each child’s unique needs and learning style, and delivered in a warm, supportive environment where students feel encouraged to grow. I believe that with the right tools and consistent support, every child can succeed in reading.
